Description

BazuFix Chat + ME/DO

A modern, fully configurable chat and ME/DO (roleplay action text) system for FiveM. Works with QB-Core, QBox and ESX.

This resource is escrow-protected. Only config.lua is open for editing — client.lua, server.lua and the html files are encrypted and cannot be modified. Every piece of behavior you'd normally want to change (colors, text, commands, limits, logging) is exposed through config.lua, so this is not a limitation in practice.

Features

  • Custom NUI chat with command suggestions, history (arrow keys) and a slide-free, fixed-position message area
  • /me and /do roleplay commands with 3D floating world text
  • /ooc local out-of-character chat with distance falloff
  • Static emote command (timed 3D text at a fixed location), with a fully translatable ox_lib input dialog
  • Server-side XSS protection (HTML escaping), character limits and spam-cooldown on every chat path
  • Whole-word or substring blacklist filtering, with a per-word exception list to avoid false positives
  • Fully theme-able via config.lua — colors, border radius and an optional logo, no CSS editing required
  • Discord webhook logging for ME/DO, OOC, static emotes and admin actions — each type can use its own webhook or share one, and every log title/label is translatable
  • Automatic version check on resource start

Requirements

  • ox_lib — required, declared as a dependency in fxmanifest.lua
  • One of: qb-core, qbx_core (QBox), or es_extended (ESX) — auto-detected, or set manually via Config.Framework
  • bazufix-core — required for the /allmedo admin command (global ME/DO visibility toggle). It's free — grab it from the link above. Without it, /allmedo will not work; every other feature works fine on its own.
